Rabbi Levi Brackman is a director and the Rabbi of Judaism in the Foothills and his wife Mrs. Sheindy Brackman serves as its Executive Director.

Rabbi Levi Brackman, was born in London, England and studied in Yeshivot in Israel, America and Canada. He has taught classes in Halacha, Talmud, prayer and Jewish mysticism at Yeshivat Hadar Hatorah in New York and at the Mayanot Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem. He received rabbinical ordination from the Tzemach Tzedek rabbinical college in the old city of Jerusalem, Rabbi Zalman Nechemye Goldberg and Rabbi Mordechai Ashkenazi. Levi also holds an MA in Hebrew & Jewish Studies from the University College London (UCL). He is also author of the best selling book: "Jewish Wisdom for Business Success: Lessons from the Torah and Other Ancient Texts which has been translated in to numerous languages"

Levi served as senior rabbi at the Enfield & Winchmore Hill Synagogue in London, UK for four years. Levi is also the Executive Director and co-founder of Youth Directions.

Levi's weekly column, which is distributed over the Internet to thousands globally, is published on Israeli daily Yedioth Achronoth's English-language website "YNetNews.com". He is also a regular contributor to the UK's Guardian. His writings, which cover pertinent social and political issues of the day, have been published on many other popular websites such as "chabad.org", "algemeiner.com", "isralert.com", "Persianrabbi.com", "freerepublic.com" and "thecoloradoadvocate.com", among others. They can also be found on his website.

Levi’s writings have been published in, among others, The Denver Post, The Intermountain Jewish News (Colorado), Torah Studies (New York), Etehaad (California), and The Canyon Courier. They have also appeared in the Australian Jewish News and in the UK, in The Jewish Chronicle and Hamodia. He has also appeared on TV and his work has been featured in newspapers both in the USA and in the UK.

In August 2005, Levi moved together with his family to Evergreen, Colorado where he started a Jewish outreach and cultural organization entitled, Judaism in the Foothills, which serves the Jewish communities of Evergreen, Golden, Conifer Morrison, Bailey and the foothills of west Metro Denver, Colorado.

Sheindy Brackman, 29, was born in Israel and is a qualified language teacher and currently teaches Hebrew and Judaic studies part-time at the Denver Academy of Torah (DAT) in Denver, Colorado. Sheindy has extensive experience in organizational roles; she has previously directed Bat Melech, a national youth organization in Israel as well as its summer camps. Sheindy also gives classes on women's issues and teaches conversational and written Hebrew to adults.

Levi and Sheindy make a formidable and dynamic team, and their warm, friendly and non-judgmental style is their trademark.

Levi and Sheindy live in Evergreen, Colorado with their three sons and one daughter, Dovi, Benny, Shmulik and Riki.
