Baruch Habah – Welcome to JITF

Judaism in the Foothills (JITF) was established in 2005 as a Jewish outreach organization dedicated to inspiring Jews to rediscover the beauty found within their own religion, heritage and culture. JITF’s philosophy is inspired by Judaism’s mystical (Kabbalah and Habad) and philosophical teachings.

Since 2005 JITF has established a strong brand that is known for its ingenuity in reaching out to unaffiliated Jews and its ability to create innovative cultural, educational and religious programming for both kids and adults. These programs include lecture series, Shabbat dinners, holiday programs, adult education and Hebrew School for kids amongst many others.

In 2009 JITF added an additional dimension to its wide array of programs—helping at-risk youth find direction and purpose for their lives. Youth Directions is a JITF program that is dedication to underprivileged youth from all communities, religions and backgrounds. Like all JITF programs its inspiration is taken from Judaic teachings, but unlike other JITF programs Youth Directions does not teach religion; its only goal is to help at-risk youth find their unique calling and purpose in life whatever that may be.

Please enjoy this website with all it has to offer and feel free to contact us at anytime for more information. We look forward to welcoming you at JITF in the near future.
