Judaism in the Foothills presents Camp Gan Israel 2008
June 30th through July 11th - For kids ages 4-9

WE BELIEVE A CAMP SHOULD DO A LOT MORE THAN JUST PROVIDE FUN & GAMES

See Below for Gan Israel's

New Hebrew Language Immersion Porgram

  • A Jewish camp should be a place where children can experience the richness, excitement, and warmth of Judaism.
  • A camp should be a place where children learn the importance of caring, sharing, tolerance, patience and working with others.
  • A camp should bring out the best in each child’s character and personality.
  • And finally, camp should be a truly enjoyable and unforgettable experience!

And that’s what JITF's Camp Gan Israel is all about!

 Camp Gan Israel
Welcome to Camp Gan Israel, part of the largest and fastest growing network of Jewish Day Camps in the world. Gan Israel enjoys a well earned reputation as a trend-setter with innovative ideas, creative programs, and a full array of education and exciting activities. Campers enjoy a wide range of activities, sports and field trips in a warm and exciting environment.

It is a comprehensive program, designed to strengthen the body and soul, which will provide your child with a rich and wholesome summer vacation. Camp Gan Israel prides itself on combining fun and excitement along with friendship and meaningful educational experiences.

 Activities
Days in Camp Gan Israel are filled with diverse, exciting recreational activities, such as sports, swimming, creative crafts, drama, Shabbat parties and Jewish themed programs. All activities are carefully chosen to instill a spirit of sportsmanship, self- confidence, leadership and creativity.

 *NEW* Hebrew & Culture
Gan Israel campers are imbued with a deep sense of pride in their Jewish heritage and love for the land of Israel. Campers are immersed in a Hebrew language program which is both fun and exciting. Hebrew language games and contests are part of the Gan Israel experience. Combined with group discussions and educational programs your child is sure to leave camp with an improved Hebrew vocabulary and an appreciation of the beauty and values of our tradition.

 On The Go
Gan Israel “Trip days” geared to the children's interest are scheduled twice a week and feature excursions to attractions such as Tiny Town, Fish 'n Farm, Golden Bowl, Denver Zoo and the Denver Children’s Museum.
